At Gausta Skisenter you will find everything you need for a fantastic family holiday. There are children’s areas, mascots, a ski school for the youngsters and long slopes, snow parks and off-piste skiing for the adults.
We're exploring the terrain around Gausta on snowshoes. We will walk to a nice spot and enjoy some hot cocoa!
We are learning the basics of ski touring and are planning to take a secret route up to a great viewpoint overlooking Gausta.
Join in on fun activities for children of all ages outside Huski's house. We will come up with entertaining activities together with our activity leader.
Join us in the children's area on the Gaustablikk side, play with our mascot, and maybe we can go skiing together!
Join the Kids' Afterski at the hotel with games and music, and perhaps the mascots will come to visit!
Flaks (our mascot) invites you to join us for a marshmallow grilling session at the Gapahuken near Hotellbakken. Come join the fun!

Visit the iconic Gaustatoppen
Gaustatoppen, one of Norway's most stunning and easily accessible mountains, offers a breathtaking view where you can see a sixth of Norway's landscape. Soaring to 1,883 meters in height, this destination is perfect for year-round mountain hiking and skiing. Don't miss the Gaustabanen, the cable car that takes you all the way up the mountain!
Gaustatoppen also offers a variety of exciting activities. Explore its historical treasures through guided tours or rejuvenate with freeriding. There's something for everyone on this majestic mountain peak.

Explore Gaustabanen, a unique mountain railway that takes you to the summit of Gaustatoppen in just 15 minutes. First, you'll be transported 850 meters into the mountain and then up to the peak at 1880 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy the sight of 1/6 of Norway's landscape.
This impressive railway has an exciting history, as it was originally built as part of a secret NATO facility in 1959. After NATO left the site, Gaustabanen opened to the public in 2010. Today, it's accessible year-round and has become a popular attraction, providing an easy way to experience one of Norway's most stunning mountain peaks.
