Private Aufguss
You can book one of our certified Aufguss masters for a private session in our unique floating sauna. A private experience lasts for 2 hours and is tailored to your preferences including heat levels, breaks, and intensity.
During breaks, you can cool off with refreshing drinks and take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Kvitåvatn.
Price for 2 hours: NOK 5 500,- Includes exclusive use of the sauna for up to 12 people.
The price also includes full-day access to our wellness area with pool, jacuzzi, and indoor sauna.

What is Aufguss?
Aufguss is a sauna ritual that originated in Germany and Austria in the 1990s. The word Aufguss is German and means "to pour on."
The ritual typically consists of three rounds, where the sauna master uses three different essential oils. The oils are mixed with crushed ice and placed on the hot stones in the sauna. This releases aromatic steam, which the sauna master circulates around the room using towel techniques and fans.
Between Aufguss sessions, you can take a dip in the cold mountain waters of Kvitåvatn. The refreshing ice bath boosts energy levels, provides an adrenaline rush, and strengthens the body.

Meet Dampmakerne
Tor Magne and Michele, known as Dampmakerne, are certified aufguss masters from Farris Bad. With Tor Magne’s experience as an aufguss master since 2014 and Michele joining the field in 2020, they have built a strong partnership over the past three years.
They began their journey at Skien Fritidspark and have organized private sauna experiences at various locations, though they have primarily worked at the water park in Langesund.
Their motto, "sauna experiences for everyone", reflects their commitment to creating relaxing and revitalizing experiences for all, with a focus on rest and well-being.
