We’re looking forward to filling the winter holiday with great experiences, fresh mountain air and plenty of life in the alpine slopes!
At Gausta, both kids and adults are in focus and the programme is packed with enjoyable activities throughout the week.
Telemark Winter Tour is coming to Gausta!
On Monday and Tuesday, 16–17 February, we’re welcoming Telemark Winter Tour, bringing lots of fun activities for both children and adults.
You can take part in a ski race in the Gausta Race Arena, join games and competitions and even meet the LEGO mascot!
Location: By the stage at the bottom of Hotellbakken

Ski Test – Saturday 14 February
Location: By the stage at the bottom of Hotellbakken
Time: 10:00–15:00
On Saturday, several of the biggest ski brands will be on site for a ski test event. This is your chance to try the latest alpine skis and find your new favourites before your next run in the slopes. Brands: Black Crow, Stockli, Atomic
Food & Drinks During the Winter Holiday
The popular Pop-up Omakase Sushi is already fully booked – thank you for the incredible interest!
Looking for lunch between alpine sessions?
Fjell Bistro
– Perfectly located right by Hotellbakken. Enjoy a delicious lunch while watching the life in the slopes – ideal for a well-earned break with both energy and views.
Stova (the floor below Fjell)
– For something quick and informal: pizza, burgers and a relaxed atmosphere.
Bygget by the Park in Hovdestaul
– A social spot where you can share flavourful street food and good vibes.

Mascot Show: “Best Friends”
Every Saturday at 14:00, our mascots dance on stage. Have you heard our song “Best Friends”? It’s guaranteed to be a highlight for the kids.
