At Fjell, great food and a relaxed atmosphere take centre stage. Our à la carte menu draws inspiration from Nordic, French and Asian cuisine, combining familiar favourites with new flavours.
With a fireplace, views of the ski slopes and the mountains just outside, Fjell is a natural gathering place for families, friends and couples. Whether you're enjoying dinner after a day in the mountains or spending a leisurely evening around the table, Fjell offers a welcoming setting for every occasion
Fjell Brunch – a weekend gathering
Every weekend throughout the winter season, Fjell invites you to enjoy a social brunch experience with great flavours and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu features 6–10 smaller dishes, combining sweet and savoury flavours, designed to be shared around the table.
Gather friends or family for a relaxing break from the slopes, with music, good food and time to enjoy the moment. The menu changes throughout the season, offering new flavours to discover.
Fjell Brunch is normally served on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on selected days during holiday periods.
Just steps from the slopes
Fjell is located at the bottom of Hotellbakken, next to the Skipsheisen lift at Gausta. With convenient ski-in/ski-out access, you can easily stop by the restaurant straight from the slopes.
The restaurant is situated on the third floor of the Stova building, with an entrance facing the car park. The Gaustablikk bus stop, served by the Gaustaekspressen shuttle bus, is also just a short walk away.

Complete your evening with transport to and from the restaurant when booking a table at Blikk, Bjørk, Kirk’s Bar & Lounge or Fjell.
The restaurant shuttle is available during selected periods and is subject to availability. Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and transport cannot be guaranteed.

Fjell Bistro offers a simple kids’ menu tailored to our youngest guests. Here you’ll find familiar and tasty dishes that make the meal both easy and enjoyable for the whole family.
Fjell is part of Dine Around
Fjell is part of the Dine Around programme at Gausta. If Dine Around is included in your stay, you can enjoy a three-course dinner at Fjell as part of your half-board package.
