Easter Holiday
The Easter holiday of 2023 is for many the final highlight of a long ski season, and snow sure Gausta is one of Norway's best ski resorts at which to experience Easter. The holiday is celebrated in the traditional Norwegian way with sun, oranges, Kvikklunsj – and of course skiing with a view of Gaustatoppen!
What to experience at Easter
Join us in the children's area on the Gaustablikk side, play with our mascot, and maybe we can go skiing together!
Join us for Easter activities outside Huskis House, where we'll do everything from egg painting to making Easter decorations.
Join us on a easter egg hunt to find all the hidden eggs located at Gausta!
Join the Kids' Easter Afterski at the hotel with games and music, and perhaps the mascots will come to visit! From 16:30 - 17:30

Easter at Gausta Skisenter 2024
At Gausta Skisenter, Easter equals long sunny days on well-prepared ski slopes. We offer 13 lifts and 36 slopes for skiers of all levels, ski school, our mascots and children's area for the younger kids. The older kids may be more tempted to try out one of our snow parks or off-piste skiing from Gaustatoppen.

With great snow and sun, Easter is one of the best times to visit Gaustatoppen. Take the Gaustabanen to the top of the mountain, get some tasty food and drinks from Gaustatoppen Turisthytte, find a spot and enjoy the sun before putting on your skis and skiing down.

Book a hotel room in the mountains for Easter 2024
Relax in a hotel this Easter! The classic and newly renovated Gaustablikk Fjellresort offers rooms, many with great views of Gaustatoppen. You choose if you want breakfast included in your stay, or half board.
The hotel is located in the middle of Gausta, right next to the slopes at Gausta Skisenter and with some great cross-country ski trails right outside the door.
