Ski slopes for small children and beginners
For families with small children, the children's areas at Gaustablikk are recommended. There is a button lift and a surface lift for the little ones. There are green, red and black slopes to suit all of the family, and all meet down at the same lift. In addition, the ski school starts from here - perfect for both the beginner who is learning to ride a lift for the first time, as well as for those who want to take the next step and learn to tackle black slopes.
Ski slopes for older children and young people
For older children and young people with a little more skiing experience, the long green, red and black ski slopes on the "back" of Skipsfjell are recommended, which take you down to the Gaustablikkekspressen chairlift. A fun adventure for the whole family is also to ski the whole system, all the way from Vatnedalen to Hovdestaul and back (or vice versa).
