At Gausta Skisenter there are two snow parks - one at Gaustablikk and one in Hovdestaul. The snow parks are made of snow and includes jumps, rails and boxes.
Snow park in Hotellbakken
The park in Hotellbakken is reached by Skipsheisen (lift B). Here you will find jump lines of all difficulties. Occasionally, there are also some easier park features for smaller children in the nearby Barnebakken, which can be reached with the button lift Lilleputt (lift A).
Snow park in Parkbakken
The park in Parkbakken is reached by Parkheisen (lift M). Here you will find several different lines of all difficulties where skiers and snowboarders of all ages and levels can enjoy jumps, rails and boxes.
To be able to maintain a high level of safety it is important that everyone who uses the parks follow the same rules. Remember to be aware of your surroundings, show consideration to others, only stop in places where you are visible to other skiers and stay on your line.
If you try the park for the first time, or you haven’t been to the park for a while, make sure you ski/ride slowly so you have time to look out for any obstacles or changes. Also, be sure to report to the staff if something in the park needs to be fixed, and always call for staff in the event of an accident.
Become a pro in the park
