Indulge in our selection of flavorful dishes and refreshing beverages with a beautiful view. Sam's Power Station is a grooming machine converted into a food truck, conveniently located at Gausta Ski Center.
Here, you can take a quick break from the slopes while admiring the majestic views of Gausta, Gaustatoppen, and Rjukan. You can find us situated at Koffertlokket, between Linken, Svart'n, and Sondreløypa. The nearest access point to our food truck is via the Skipsheisen and Gaustablikkekspressen.

The name "Sam's Power Station" is a tribute to Sam Eyde, the man considered the founder of both Hydro and Rjukan. His vision of "putting the waterfall to useful work for the people" marked the beginning of a unique industrial adventure that Norway had never seen before.
Eyde's work contributed to harnessing Norway's natural resources and initiating a pioneering industrial development that continues to shape the country's history and pave the way for sustainable growth
