About Gausta Sportell
Gausta Sportell is a comfortable, self-service hotel with a relaxed atmosphere – an ideal base for exploring Gausta throughout the year. The hotel offers modern double rooms, family rooms and spacious apartments, making it a great choice for couples, families and groups of friends.
Here, mountain experiences are right on your doorstep. In winter, Gausta Ski Resort is just 50 metres away, while summer brings easy access to hiking, cycling and adventures around Gaustatoppen.
Practical information
Gausta Sportell offers convenient digital check-in and operates primarily as a self-service hotel. Check-in information will be sent by SMS to the phone number provided in the booking at 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.
During the winter season, the hotel is staffed, and half board with breakfast and dinner is included in all stays. Sportell Restaurant and Sportell Bar are open daily, and you can also enjoy a game of darts or shuffleboard in the bar.
Outside the winter season, accommodation is offered without meals. During selected periods in summer, Sportell Bar is open with a simple food menu.
The Gausta Express stops just outside the hotel, making it easy to get around the destination. Please check the current timetable and operating periods before arrival.

Gausta Sportell outside the winter season
Outside the winter season, Gausta Sportell operates as a self-service hotel with digital check-in and accommodation without meals. Several units have their own kitchen, and with Gaustatoppen, Gaustabanen and the mountains close by, the hotel is a flexible base for exploring Gausta.
Breakfast is not served at Gausta Sportell outside the winter season. During selected periods in summer, Sportell Bar is open with a simple food menu.
You’ll also find several other dining options at Gausta. At Gaustablikk Fjellresort, it may be possible to purchase the breakfast buffet, subject to availability.

During the winter season, half board with breakfast and dinner is included in all stays at Gausta Sportell. This makes it easy to enjoy your days in the mountains, with your meals taken care of at the hotel.
Each evening, a three-course buffet is served in Sportell Restaurant, with a menu that varies from day to day. In the morning, a varied breakfast buffet awaits – a great start before another day in the mountains.
